Meglio conosciuta come la casa del leggendario Robin Hood, Nottingham ha un'atmosfera eccitante, è piena di attrazioni e vicina al famoso stadio del Manchester United. Da Nottingham si raggiungono facilmente, e sono meta di escursioni, York, Lincoln e Leeds oltre a Skegness, tradizionale meta di vacanze estive sul mare. Nel cuore dell'Inghilterra, offre il più grande shopping centre degli UK ed è a sole due ore da Londra.

Il nostro residence a Nottingham è perfetto per ospitare i giovani perchè circondato da un parco e al limite della città, con facile accesso a tutte le attrazioni che offre. All'interno si trovano una caffetteria, grandi aule, una palestra, un teatro/sala multimediale anche per cinema, discoteca e altri spettacoli di intrattenimento solo per i nostri studenti.

In Nottingham all students are accommodated in single and twin rooms. The accommodation is in a modern residence and all meals, activities and lessons are in the same building. Additionally the residence offers a large common room for recreation, where students can relax with their new friends. A laundry room is also available. The accommodation is very safe, with St Giles staff staying on-site, as well as the residence's own 24-hour security.
NB: We will try to place students according to their preference, but room allocation is subject to availability.

Students study for 20 lessons per week in international classes of up to 15 students. Each lesson lasts for 50 minutes. On their first day students take a test to ensure they are placed in an appropriate level. There are six levels of study, from beginner to advanced. All students receive an end-of-course certificate.

All our teachers are graduates with recognised TEFL certificates, and are extensively briefed on the particular needs of young learners. The language is brought to life through a vibrant and functional approach. In addition to formal language skills training, lessons include project work, videos, games and use of St Giles International's wide variety of modern English language teaching resources.

There is one full-day and one half-day excursion per week. Full-day excursions include London, Cambridge, Manchester and the popular Alton Towers theme park. Half-day excursions include York, Sherwood Forest and Go Ape! (high-wire forest adventure), and Cadbury's World chocolate factory.

There is also a full social programme every afternoon and evening, including a variety of sports (e.g. football, volleyball, basketball) and other activities (e.g. film shows, discos, bowling) and visits to local sites of interest.
